The Lumicon 2-inch Newtonian Easy-Guider is an off-axis guider that works well with 35mm film. I used it for all prime-focus photos I took through a Meade MTS-SN6 6-inch f/5 Schmidt-Newtonian telescope, which has a rather beefy 2-inch helical focuser. However, I could not use it on a newer Meade LXD55 SN6 6-inch f/5 Schmidt-Newtonian OTA since the 2-inch rack-and-pinion focuser on that model doesn’t have quite enough back focus to accommodate it. I ended up using a separate 80mm f/5 guidescope instead, mounted on rings attached to a plate fastened to the OTA's tube rings.
