The ladder rungs on this chair are the brackets to adjust the seat to different heights. A necessity when using a binocular seated. Every altitude requires a different seat height. I've got the stock 25x eyepieces in the BT100. The much better 20mm TV plossls and 14mm TV radians are on the tray. A Stellervue red dot finder is mounted on top, but is rarely used.
