Mars through red filter

Mars as seen through red filter. Picture taken using ToUCam coupled to 2X apochromatic barlow and 6" f/8 newtonian on SkyView Pro mount. The dark band structure is Mare Erythraeum.

    A very nice picture. 6" F/8 Newt images seem to be few and far between these days. Thank you,I hope to see a lot more,I'm biased. Kenny

    Nice Work!! Mars seems all but forgotten in this day and age with Saturn going edge on and all!!!
