M45 - The Pleiades - Jan. 23, 2006

This is 35 two and a half minute subs at ISO800. Processed with a good set of darks and a really bad set of flats (still haven't got this right). Calibrartion, registration, stacking, white balance and an initial stretch done in Iris, finishing work done in Photoshop. Captured from my light polluted back yard on January 23rd, 2006

    The blue nebulius gasses are one of our most beautiful objects. Love those seven sisters! excellent image anyway.
