This is the bottom plate in the azimuth clutch pack. It wiggles because of the tapered screw heads not matching the taper of the hole in the plate. There's another picture that shows the chattering that occured in the plate when they counterbored it at the factory.

I fixed this problem by putting a little bit of cotton under each screw head and then applying some wicking thread locker. https://www.permatex...adlocker-green/

Skywatcher sent me a replacement with a new design. They went with standard socket head cap screws and straight bores in the plate. I have yet to install this, as my locktite solution is holding.
