Can I ask what eyepiece you use to get this view? We just got the same telescope and we are having a hard time seeing much.
I used the Canon 450D (similar to the Canon 1000D) only. cameras can collect much more color and detail due to the long exposure times.
the most important piece for astrophotography with the 130SLT is the wedge (you can build it yourself)
and some modification to the mirror position with different screws so the camera will come in to focus natively
however, you can see this nebula easily (I can spot it with my binoculars under with city lights) and any eyepiece will do, preferably 20-30mm (it wont be as colorful or detailed as in the pictures, but will still be beautiful)
