MARS TIME LAPSE

This is a 2018 map projection time lapse. It's different than the traditional method, in that, you can aquire the data over several nights. Because it's rotation is so slow (a little over 24 hrs.) it is a real challenge to capture a significant amount of it on a single night. The data here was aquired over a four night period. It features it's two moons, Phobos and Deimos. Also, the heights of Olympus Mons peek out from the global dust storm of 2018. Data was shot with a 10" newtonian EQ and asi120mc coupled with a 5X powermate....https://www.youtube....eature=youtu.be
