Tranquility Base Region (Apollo 11) Sketch

Sketching and Equipment:

Date: July 9, 2019, Time: 03:45 UT
Materials: Black Canson paper ( 12”x 14”), black and white pastel pencils, white pearl eraser,
small brush, blending stumps (assorted), some white pastel powder. Sketch was photographed a few days later, then cropped and labelled in Microsoft Paint.
Telescope used in sketching : 10” f5.7 Dobsonian riding on an equatorial platform at two magnifications: 3.4mm eyepiece at 426x, 6mm eyepiece at 241x
Sketching time was about 2 hours. South is up in the sketch.
