Sketching: For this sketch I used: black Strathmore 400 Artagain paper, white and black Conte’ pastel pencils and a blending stump. Contrast and brightness were slightly increased after scanning. Frank, simply amazing detail in a very complex area. Fantastic rendering! These two have always reminded me of the flow of debris that coursed over the area after the Imbrium impact. There is almost a feel of a liquid flow through them.
