First attempt imaging the Whirlpool Galaxy M51A
After setting up the equipment in the foothills of N. CA. I began making some test shots and thought, maybe I should see if the mount is fine-tuned and accurate... so away it went to where the Whirlpool Galaxy M51A is located. This is a single frame 180 sec exposure at ISO 1250. Scope Stellarvue 80 mm Tripplet APO. Camera Nikon D4s. PP Adobe Photoshop.
