Hi,

I'm curious if anyone owns or has pictures of a Monolux 4380 (60mm 910mm)? I have one that is 99% complete, including the proper wooden box but I am missing the finderscope. I would like to know "exactly" what the proper one is and its color.

Any specific help is appreciated,
-JWW:

Others can correct me if I am wrong but I believe the D:60mm F:910 Monolux is identical to the Mayflower D:60 F:910. If so, I have the Mayflower version and can send you a photo of my finder scope.

I recall it being white and similar to the ones that came with Tasco 60mm and 76mm. I'll have to double check when I get back. I have one that has everything but the central part of the mount. I have the tripod legs, counterweight and shaft, flex cables......but no mount - go figure. I need to paint an extra Tasco mount I have - gray to match it....

Don, mine has the same spring loaded focuser.

Me again,

My Monolux OTA and mount, tray etc., has a blue/green wrinkle finish on it. Was curious if the finderscope was the same. I haven't been able to find a picture anywhere on the Internet. Just thouhgt someone here might.

Thanks,

JWW,

Look at the Bushnell photos. The finder has a matching crinkle finish. Your tube has the same finish. My monolux has the same exact mechanicals as the Bushnell except mine was white. Your tube actually looks like the Bushnell so if you can locate a Bushnell finder but then paint the blue parts grey, you may be in business.

Jae,

Thanks for the help, pictures and link, it's appreciated. It's strange that everything is there but the finderscope. The Monolux eyepieces are excellent optically!
