I am with the understanding that these scopes were made by Towa. Does anybody here have an 8V.

Is this a straight reflector or a closed tube folded reflector? I see the blue book says it is actually a f/4 with barlow built into the base. Even with the barlow, the mirror is still figured at f/4. Wouldn't this suffer from coma?

I seem to remember seeing a corrector plate on the front of one before.-Ken
