Check this one out. It not only looks like it was used as a baseball bat but also as a rolling pin.

Ouch. That doesn't need a high bidder, that needs a miracle worker.

Well, I'm not even going to attempt this miracle... but... :jump:

I had contacted the seller a long time ago and simply explained that there was no way he would get $99 for the scope. I had offered him $25 as I could use the parts. Well, I got an Ebay response back from him today and he wanted $50. I countered with $30 but anything more then that and I could get the parts from other sources.

So now I have this tired ol' gal coming to me for thirty dollars. :crutch:

I'll give a report if it makes it here before I head down to Texas on the 5th!

$30 isn't a bad deal. The accessories are probably worth more than that. I agree though, $99 plus ship was asking too much.

Before too long, Preston can open a Wholesale Telescope Parts Warehouse!

Now your talking!!

Hard to say at this point if anything is good on the scope. But:

I need the focuser knobs/gear as one of my Tasco 7TE-5s arrived with a stripped gear. :jump:
I want the adjustable lens cell for a future idea.

It's always great to have a spare 60mm tube bracket right Mike?

Someone is interested in the lens if it is good (but I won't mention that it is Jae)

Looks like most of the Alt-Az mount is there (the base is on the tripod) :praying:

Hey, what is that sun eyepiece all about? I have a sun filter and know that I shouldn't use it. Same with the eyepiece?

Hey Preston, you might not have seen this scope of mine:

Of course! That's a very interesting scope! I find the mount very interesting - very unusual design. Let's just hope I get the scope before I head south to Texas for a few months!
