UPS delivered the Sears Discoverer 3-4451 yesterday,It arrived in great condition thanks to a wonderful packing job by the seller from Ebay.My son was very anxious to find out what was in the large box.Everything was wraped up tight all the parts were there and in great condition. We assembled the scope on the tripod, did a little cleaning to remove some dust. Also I needed to remove some of that sticky grease from the focuser. After things darkened up outside we took the scope out for a quick look at Venus and Saturn and then Mizar.I used the 1 1/4 adapter with some plossl eyepices from Orion. The flip finder scope was cool works great. It's been awhile since I have looked through a 60mm brings back some old memories.

Sorry to hear about your son,I hope no one was hurt.No parent need to deal with their child being injured in a auto accident,You hear this way to often .
