Anyone know where to get an adapter to replace the .965 tension adapter these Unitron scopes come with ?

Thanks.

Unitron may still have them, that's where I got mine some years back. Otherwise you may have to get one machined from one of the few astro custom machinists out there (one or two are sponsors at the other classified site). Good luck.

Hi Jae,
I had mine machined by a friend. The other way is to contact Tony Costanzo, a CN's sponsor at astronomy-shoppe.com he will be able to help. :)

Just for kicks. I split a small piece of thin walled pipe to fit over a 1.25" diag and it slides nicely into the draw tube fitting on my 4" tada it works with most eyepieces but not the radians,,,,

Yahoo !! :jump: :jump: Talked to Peter Indrigo at Unitron and they remanufactured the 1.25 adapters so they have plenty of them. They go for $30 plus shipping. I'm ordering one for my 75 and the 60.....

Thanks Robert and everyone else.

Wow! I may have to get a couple of these myself. I have a 1.25" visual back already on my 4" OTA (it's a late model) and just used it on one of the other scopes when I wanted to take it out... but since I'm planning to sell the 4" I was wondering what I'd do...
