Here are some pix of my Unitron 114 mount that I bought from Tony. :jump:

It was in pretty good shape but needed a good cleaning and greasing. I restored the legs and still have some tweeking to do but I'm very happy with it. What a solid mount! Of course, as with Mike's project today - now it's cloudy :( so I probably won't get a chance to use it tonight. :bawling:

Looking sweet. The mount is a Jewel and you have it looking like new. The Tasco looks like a natural on the mount.
Funny I posted my picture today of my hybrid Unitron combo. (UniAnt)

Preston I have a 1956 2.4 unitron Alt az I just purchased from Ron Pastroy There are to cool and I was very suprized by how stout and well made it is! The tube on this unit is brass and has a OLD Unihex that is a beast but the mount holds it all fine and is fun to use. If your looking or decide to look for the 2,4 unitron let me know I will keep an eye out... Clint

Nice work Preston! And now that Tasco looks mighty dignified riding on that Unitron mount...!

Regards and clear skies,

Tascotron Sr. - I like that! :jump:

Thanx for the heads up on the shipment. The 114 mount should support the 3" OTA with no problems. Let me know how your test goes!
