Looks like an Edmund to me -- seller says it's 5", but I'll bet it's a 4.5. If you're close (Westmoreland NY) it might be worth a look: Old Reflector

I had one very much like that back in the early 1970s , if I ebayed ,and I dont ,I might be tempted to take a shot at it.Poor scope looks like its been bombed during world war three for goodness sakes.
And why might I ask does he say its 40 to 45 years old is an antique, I feel really old now. :ohmy:

Maybe it's a forerunner of the Deep Space Explorer, 4.25" ? If so, that was my second real scope, but by then it was a white tube.
