So Dan,

Now that the mystery is solved, what can you tell us about that eyepiece? How does it do in the focuser??

It kinda looks like it might have been used as a fishing weight at some point ;) but does it perform OK when you look through it?

Can you provide a picture of your eyepiece with the barrel showing - perhaps a side view?
