I have a manual for a 1970s Sears 60mm 900mmfl Refractor that I can scan and email to you. Send me a PM with your email. My scope has the flip mirror finder (uses the primary lens instead of a secondary finder scope). Books, try "Turn Left at Orion" and "The Messier Albumn (1978)" both are very good book for beginners. Both books can be picked up at Amazon.

4rebotco,

Here's a link to a 6339 manual (a 76mm Sears scope). It's not exactly like you 6333, but close enough to serve your purpose, I'm sure:

Does anyone have a series of photos that show the differences of the various vintage Sears telescopes?

It would seem to be a good idea to show the differences.

Any chance anyone might post some pictures?

I thought some people had a series of these scopes.

Go up to the top right of this page, and click on the "show all" and wait a few minutes. You'll get to see all the pages of this thread and that there are several pictures of the different scope models.

Here's mine:

To prevent too much thread clogging, I won't post photos of mine in this thread as there are several of them already in a previous thread about my Sears Discoverer 3, Model 4454, 80mm f/15:

Hi! I missed your post before, I was in a bit of a hurry. Anyways I'm not sure what a PM is. You can email me at 4rebotco@gmail.com. I guess I'm really a newbie, I can't find a lens in the box of stuff that came with this to fit in the long tube that comes out the back, maybe I need an adapter or some such. Thanks for your response!

I have looked at ALL the photos in this thread.

We need more so one can identify a particular mount.

THANK YOU for posting these pictures!

This is the first pictures of this specific mount in this discussion.

Could you post CLOSEUPS (from all angles) of this mount?

Thanks
