Here are my latest images of planetary nebula, taken Tuesday night, under a full moon, using a Celestron C8 OTA on an iOptron ZEQ25 and using a Revolution Imager R1. Settings were SenseUp from x32 to x512, AGC medium,  DNR 4, Brightness 54.

Thanks. I used the 0.25 stretch in Starlight Live. It is a form of non linear stretch that applies a more aggressive stretch to the dimmer parts of the image.

Shot the Eastern Veil and North American nebula's last night along with a few others. Lodestar X2 with a 7nm HA filter on my 50mm scope. Played with the three thumb screws on the 50mm Orion guide scope to get the camera straight but I still get stretched stars on the left side of the image but not the right? Will have to keep working on a solution.

 

On the North American if you look toward Florida there is a short diagonal line that flashed on the image like a meteor? Thinking if it were a satellite it would be a longer line? Cool to see while looking at the laptop.

Here's two different views of M27, the Dumbbell Nebula.  Both were done with live stacking in Sharpcap.

First, "as viewed" with a little bit of post processing:

Then, I did "raw stack" saves and used Deep Sky Stacker to stack 3 of them.

I like the nebula region in the FITS file stack, but I can't seem to get rid of the red flaring of the brighter stars.  I was using a UV/IR cut filter during the collection.  If anyone has any tips on best ways to collect and/or process, I would appreciate it!

Switched the camera back to my C8 last night. Shot the Crescent nebula and the tail of the Eastern Veil. Lodestar X2 , Lodestar Live, Meade 3.3 reducer, Ha filter, skyglow filter on my C8. Using darks.

Very nice captures. I was wondering if you've successfully stacked anything shorter than 45sec subs with the Halpha filter,  the Lodestar X2 and your C8? I'm curious because I just got a similar 7nm Halpha filter that I am hoping to use with my C8 @ f3.7 - probably around the same f/ratio you are operating at. I still have to get a mono camera though, so your results are of interest to me. Thanks.

Errol I am sure I have but can't find any examples in my picture folders. I don't keep very good notes if any at all. I have found 45 seconds for nebula's in Ha and 15 seconds for brighter objects like globs has been my sweet spot. I normally stack 4 to 5 frames. Occasionally I go to 60 seconds for the very faint objects.

 

Tonight I will try the Crescent in Ha stacking at 15 seconds and see how it compares. If you have a time you want me to use let me know and I will give it a try.

Joe which skyglow filter did you use with the h-a filter?

Took this last night of M13.  I think it is a tad out of focus, so next time out I will try for a better one.  This was 5 seconds exposures stacked for 4 minutes using a Baader Moon and Skyglow filter with IR/UV Cut.  Used my C11 with the Optec F3.3 reducer.
