That's weird. Just noticed that SLT's are designed to work 'the wrong way' compared to the SE mounts-- The SLT mount arms are intended to be on the right. Looks like a not-difficult mistake to make.

I must admit, I did not read the instructions. I am going out shortly to see if it fixes my alignment problems.

Sorry to but in guys (greetings to you all). I have been reading this thread as today I asked my dealer how much for a 8SE against my Vixen Skypod (4.33" plays 8") I fancied a bigger scope. Now I realize how good the Skypod is after reading all that, and might think more than twice and live with 4.33"
Kind regards and no offense meant.

Cenk, I am very happy for you, and it makes me a lot happier as well. Ignore my post guys, but any comments on the 8SE would help me to decide.
Regards guys, and forgiveness for butting in.

GEOFFREY. LOOK AT OTHER POSTS/THREADS, YOU WILL SEE BY THEM
THAT THE 8SE IS A WOUNDERFUL SCOPE.. ALL AND ANY SCOPE AS
A LEARNING CURVE. THIS DOES NOT MAKE THEM BAD....
