Just in case you've been buried under a rock someplace (or a mound of paperwork) we'd like to take this opportunity to remind you of the Lunar Eclipse this evening.

Totality should be visible from the CONUS, and starts at 10:23pm EST.

The next total lunar eclipse will not occur till 2007.

Thanks, I have my raincoat ready which is normal observing gear here in Wisconsin. BTW, I think Eclipse only needs one 'L'.

A partial requires only one L, while a total reqires two! :lol:

Believe it or not...it is clear in Portland, Tonight! The first night in 2 weeks!!! We are going to go find a spot to view the eclipse.

Well I saw parts of it, through the clouds of course, didn't get to see totality though :(
