Very nice! The quality is amazing. Even the bolts.

How are the optics? Obviously CA should be minimal, but how about the quality overall?

I assume it did not arrive in that fine condition?

Hi Steve,

I haven't touched a thing and yes it arrived as you see it. I haven't even wax or wiped it down. <smile> It isn't mint but in amazing shape, including the wooden box. It has been cloudy here the last 3 days so it hasn't seen its first light. Cosmetically the optics are pristine. The build quality is superb! The mount is extremly stout.

Even the box is incredibly nice. Now, where on Earth did you find something like that?! I like the moveable wooden hold downs inside for the tubes and such. Nice box joints as well.. Certainly a heck of a mount. Congratulations. Rich

Oh man, that is CRAZY GOOD! With the logo stamped into most everything, shows such pride in workmanship and finished product. Just beautiful.

Great looking set-up. You`ll have a lot of fun with it. I own a 60mm GOTO Hyscore alt/az and have been very pleased with all aspects of it.

Enjoy!!!

VERY Nice! Beautiful shape! Except for the eps & the tripod bolts, I don't believe mine has GOTO's name anywhere. I see you at least have it on the control knobs too. Congratulations! :D
BTW, I'm curious what the sticker on the inside of the case says

My Gosh!

Even the original bubble wrap!

What an amazing scope! How exciting that it is in such mint condition - I'm really glad you got this gem! Thank you for all the pictures. Now I have to get a paper towel to wipe the drool off of my keyboard! :drool5:

Bob,

The tray is 5 5/8" in diameter, 1/16" thick and 1/2" in height. The controls are 3/8" in diameter. The control knobs are 1 3/4" diameter. One is 12" long, the other is 8" in lenght. If you need more accurate measurements, just let me know.
