I thought it might be worth posting the titles of books that have a lot of good astroart in them here - sorry if this belongs in a different forum, but I thought people would go here first when looking for astroart.
- Cycles of Fire This is a classic, at least from my viewpoint. It was published years ago, back in the 80's or early 90's, but it has many pictures of space art that are great fun to look at. Everything from planets to galaxies can be found within its pages, and many of the paintings are from well-known "astro-artists." Unfortunately, they never made a new edition of the book - for example, extra-solar planets are still a "what if" - and I am not sure if it is in print anymore. But if you like astro-art, especially art that focuses on far-off and imaginary worlds, this book will impress you.
- Visions of Space This is another great book from the same era, a "coffee-table book" based on its size. It dives deeply into the history and evolution of space art over the years, giving biographical information on many of the famous artists. This book focuses heavily on man and exploration of space, and it is fascinating to watch how astroart evolves from the pre-moon mission days to modern-day art. Lots of neat, yet realistic, spaceships in here, too!
Any other good books out there?

My favourites are a bit older than that:
The Conquest of Space with art by Chesley Bonestell, 1949, with paintings of the Moon and planets of the Solar System.

Sur les Autres Mondes by Lucien Rudaux, 1937, again with paintings of the Moon and planets, but bigger and more of them.

By Space Ship to the Moon with art by Jack Coggins, 1952, including pictures of technicians on the Moon preparing to fire nuclear missiles at Earth.

The Days of Future Past website is also well worth a look.
