WOWSERS!!!

I remember seeing one of those set up in a display window when I first got interested in getting a scope. That is a huge scope. He must have every accessory ever sold for it too. That will be a fun one to watch, especially near the end. I'm willing to bet it goes for close to $3000.

yep ebay auctions can be fun especially within the last minute

a couple of days ago an AP130 shot up from $5400 to $6400 within the last minute. the last $500 of which was in the last 10-15 seconds.

This particular scope was offered a few weeks ago, but the reserve was not achieved. As I recall, bidding didn't reach the $2000.00 point, which is surprising, considering the nature of this scope and its accessories. It looks like a really nice setup!

I looked several times at the ebay discription, but didn't see any mention of the scope name, if it was home brew, what sort of objective lens? I wouldn't bid on that unless I had the full Info. did I miss seeing something?

OK, way at the bottom they mention Unitron. I thought it might have been something like a vintage Zeiss!

Good grief! Yor're right Andy, maybe instead of a new telescope or binoculars, I should get new eyeglasses?

Cheers!

Don't feel bad, Bob; Those eBay characters are pretty tricky!
