I met Alan briefly (he's pretty manic during NEAF) and what a great guy. The show this year was the best ever and I wanted to thank him...it is one of the few times during the year that I truly feel like a kid in the candy store.

"Kid in a candy store.."...

you must have dropped by the APM America booth whilst the Gummi Bears were still available :)

I know what you mean Jeff; every year the choices get better and better (and the bank balance redder and redder).

The worst part for me for '09 is that I expect to be moving (to Deerlick Astronomy Village) in the next year, and looking at all the STUFF that has to be moved, I now limit myself to only those pieces of astrogear that'll fit in my pocket.

Well, last week MikeL said he'd start posting them this week...but he might've gotten busy on other stuff...but then again it's still this week. ;) I'd keep an eye on the Articles Forum for the announcement when they're posted, though. :)

I know these are late...sorry...

These are straight out of the camera, no processing. Not how I like to do things, but I've not had time recently to concentrate on my photography:

Don't get me wrong guys. I love NEAF and plan to be present again next year. I'm just shocked that no serious Truss DOB ATM's were present. If no competition exists at the show, then it's a dang good opportunity to promote the ATM work. Someone needs to bring Alan a superbike instead of a scooter as well.

Hey Daniel,

I think I can accomodate you very nicely this year ....

Orion is bringing their big Guns, As well as the whole Dob Line.
Rob Teeters of Teeters Telescopes
Normand Fullum Telescopes
and I am working on the following:
Starstructure
Starmaster
Obsession
Webster
