Hey Mark - Jonathan said to say hi! Looking forward to seeing everyone at NEAF!!!!!!!! :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump:

Tell the lad I'm looking forward to hearing how his outlook on things is now, compared to last year. I enjoyed speaking with him, and was quite glad to be able to give him some food for thought.

Definetly a smart kid with a good head on his shoulders.. :waytogo:

Yeah, Bob, I'll be there, to both NEAIC and NEAF (arriving Weds late afternoon).

At the current rate of interest, I'll plan on 4-5 lbs of shrimp. But as I previously mentioned, it won't be really "fresh", having been out of the water for a couple of days...

This will be my first NEAF. So should I just attend or set up a vendor booth?

My partner John won't be able to make it, so I'll be alone and think I would enjoy seeing what's out. On the other hand I would like for people to be able to check out the Spike-a Bahtinov mask.

We are a very small company and don't have much budjet, so all I would have is a table with a few samples to show. Would it be okay to leave a booth unattended while I walk around?

Okay- I could bring the wife to "man the booth" But everyone must promise to tell her that the 17mm ethos was $75.00 and the ads were all miss prints. :help:

Hi Jerry, From what I've seen at the NEAF shows that I've been to, is that everyone pitches in when needed. Typically if you need a break, you find that one of your neighbor booths will keep an eye on things for you.

Plus last year Alan had the volunteer kids go around to each booth to see if they could get coffee or food for us. That was a nice treat, as sometimes it's so busy you realize that you've not eaten yet. However, when you do go get something to eat or drink, vendors move to the front of the line because they need to get back to their booths.

So anyway, NEAF is a great place to show your wares, meet people, and see what other goodies are out there. It's an astronomer's candy shop! Bring your wife, you'll both have a lot of fun whether you set up a booth or not. :)

Emanuele, it'll be great to meet you in person. I can be found lurking around the Horstman display (Backyard Observatories). If you can, the NEAIC (Northeast Astronomical Imaging Conference the two days before NEAF) is worth your time.

Hi Aunt Diane and Uncle Alan,
It's Zhenya. Is there enough work for me and Jonathan? I'll work hard for both of you. I miss you both.
Uncle Alan, are you bringing the scooter?
From Zhenya
