Great review, because of this review I just bought the Seymour Solar for my ETX, and tested it out and it works great. Very pleasing Orange color, sun spots are easy to see and are clear. I cannot wait until the Transit of Venus!

I have a Seymore Solar filter for my NexStar 6se and Dynamax DX6 (don't laugh the Dynamax 6 SCT were a pretty good scope,) they got their correctors from Japan and not like the DX8 that they made themselves. I have yet to see a poor DX6,
I find the Seymore filter as being too dim in a slow F10 system. On my Dynascope RV6 F8 it is fine. nice for the money.I pretty much agree with the rest of the review.
I have a Premium glass filter and a Mylar for my ETX and B&L 4000, the glass filter which was by far more expensive
is fine but does not quite reach the detail of the Mylar,
or Seymore.
thanks for the interesting post.
