Although seeing was average I decided to assemble an RGB image of Mars, basically a reproccess on a previously posted shot. Syrtis Major was placed near the evening terminator, the left side here with north down, and shows what appears to be the Syrtis Blue Cloud. Also on the opposite side can be seen the blue haze all up at down the Chryse area, generally the morning area.

It is not an optimum RGB result as I had difficulty processing the blue channel under trying circumstances. But I dont know how many chances I will get this apparition to coax some information from the blue or atmospheric channel!

Comments welcome.

Wow Glenn, that's remarkable, you also have
good detail in the NPC, very good image!
Your processing gives it a very natural look.

I'm guessing that a good blue like yours means good seeing! That's a great view there Glenn!

Stunning detail! The 1x image actually appears 3D. The details you pulled out of the B channel are impressive. Excellent work. Thanks for posting

Thanks guys!

Seeing was only average. An hour earlier it bordered on good but Syrtis Major was more centrally placed and hence the blue cloud not as visible. My estimate of seeing is based on many years of experience at various locations in the western US as well as the gulf coast. There, south of Houston, was my best seeing, ignoring the obvious problems of excessive rain, fog, dew and mosquitos!
