Ivo, I have a question about the 550D Video. I just purchased this last week and was wondering about the video on the 550d. when I switch it to video the live view function comes on, will I be able to view this on the APT program? and watch my live view on my laptop or broadcast it for others to view. Excellent product, works well with my 450D

Thanks
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for the kind words! In the moment APT is not supporting the video functions of the 500D and later :( But in the next few versions it will be :)

I have been reading up on APT and have a quick question about the objects viewer...can you import or change it to reflect a targeting plan for the evening or is it set to only whats listed on features page.

Thanks Mittag56

Hello Mittag56,

You have freedom to make calculations of the objects scale for any object size, focal length and camera combination even in the demo version.

In the full version there is a catalog of 545 objects to speed up these calculations and to help in objects framing.

Regards,
Ivo

Hi Andrew,

Yes, you have to use your key to download the latest version. Usually there is no need to uninstall the previous version. Just run the new setup.

Hello,

Some great news! APT has Tooltips in Portuguese thank to Nelson Viegas, one of the very first supporters. Many thanks Nelson!

The second news is that Robert Vice was very kind to edit the English version and made it much more understandable and clear. Many thanks Robert!

Both files can be found in the "Downloads" page on APT site.

Now the available translations are : Dutch, Polish, German and Portuguese :) Also I'm expecting the French one to be finished very soon.
