If that price includes the mounting, it's an insanely good buy. I didn't see where it stated OTA only. ???

John,

I know, I'm sitting here with my finger on the trigger. If it comes with the mount I don't think I could ever possibly stop myself :foreheadslap:

It got my attention, too. Take note: it only comes in Cassegrain mode; you'll need to buy the parts for the Newtonian conversion.

"A coward dies many deaths.
A brave man tastes of death but once."

Not to mention, that's one heckuva deal; then you can sell your Vixen VC200L for a bar-gain...

I looked at the deal and passed(!)
The kit for the Newtonian mode is available from TNR for about $500. Used prices for CN-212s from Astromart are all over the map, at $2600 it would be an OK deal, but not a great one. I decided to wait for the Mewlon 210 that I have on order rather than take a chance on a used CN-212.

My wife hasn't seen my C14 till now. I'm selling it, and was taking pictures to place on the add. She said" hun it's a clear night are you going to set up your scope"what's that? I said mmmmmmm ,she's prying for info. It's too cold and i'm tired.
What can I say, they are like the jet stream :foreheadslap:
