Ok folks, thanks to everyone who has contributed so far.

We are now coming to the third post in this series (which is ironic since it is probably going to be the first rubric we put to the test).

What would you like us to have on our checklist when we are evaluating a telescope? In this specific case, a dobsonian.

Simple lists of what to look for are appreciated, however it's more appreciated if you can detail a simple step by step objective process that our reviewers can follow.

Again, please don't respond here, I'll post this in the equipment forum - respond there.
