Well... I guess that's the difference. I am running it on Windows 7 Pro.

TSXPro disabledsopengl support on Windows remote desktop, both on XP and Win7. openGL under TSXPro works pretty well for me with UltraVNC. Support for this isn't a sure thing.

That will (at some point) be my next step of evolution, to upgrade to Win7.

The good news is I have a number of my scripts working. One of the problems is I have to wait for Bisque to fix the "home on connect" issue. Hopefully it will be in ver. 10.1.10.

Hey Marcus, when you do this, upgrade to win7, 64 bit is a solid choice at least if you are going to upgrade the PC at the same time. I've been using win7 64 bit for just about a year now on my desktop and it's fine. My obs PC is win 7 32 bit (had to replace the whole thing thanks to lightning), and I used 32 bit because I was worried about driver support, but that was a needless worry, really.

I'd imagine Tom or Matt would fix the home on connect issue in 10.1.10. I think 10.1.10 is going to be really good. I think this will be the first version where the whole "you'll get some upgrades as well as bugfixes" kicks in. I know of a couple of things they are doing that will be pretty sweet.

I concur... I have run Windows 7 Pro 64-bit for almost a year with excellent results. I have had no problems with any of the drivers written for it. I had to wait a little bit for some drivers, but I now have a driver for all my hardware/software and I have a lot of hardware/software for my remote observatory...

So it's a year and a half later since the above thread ...

So, did Sandiegopaul continue with TS6? Is TSX reliable now?

Is the SLEW PRIOR working?

Thx
Steve

Oh. I'm very sorry to hear that. Thank you for the advice.

Steve
