I'm in the process of preparing an ETX 90 for sale and have found that the lens cover is missing as well as the instructions for the autostar controller. Does anyone know where I can locate these items? TIA LarryC

Did you try looking under the couch or in the back of the closet.

Lol nope but then, it wouldn't be in either of those places here---it's a scope I am selling for a friend and SHE has turned her house upside down looking for it (told her that it was going to cost her $100 in the sales price IF she couldn't find it). The instructions for the autostar are going to cost her $50.00 Hopefully I can scare up all the parts to sell the scope for the best and fairest price. LarryC

Thanks Dave, I will print that out. Didn't know it was there but should have figured it out on my own. Do you think I can print out a lens cover too??? LarryC

Are there any stores around here that sell the ETX90? The Discovery store that used to be in the mall used to but they are long gone...they probably had one or two in a drawer somewhere. What about Sun River Observatory (you've probably covered that angle, though).

You could also post a "wanted" on Astromart.

Tom,

"You could also post a "wanted" on Astromart."

Dang, why didn't I think of that???? :smash:

I did check the one local store that sells Meade stuff here with no luck. The SRO doesn't (and won't) carry Meade for various reasons (I'll let you know why privately sometime) so that was a dead end as well.

Thanks---------Larry (who's slowly slipping into his dotage)
