I visit the New Jersey Shore during the summer when the nights are warm and the skies are clear...after I meet a girl, I was wondering if a
Meade 8" LX200 GPS-SMT Telescope
would be a good tool to use to "isolate" a girl as a spur of the moment type of thing...take her in my car to a open spot away from lights (do you suggest the beach?), quickly setup my
Meade 8" LX200 GPS-SMT Telescope
and entertain her with a view of the moon's craters and mountains??? Tell me what you think...
I have not purchased my Meade 8" LX200 GPS-SMT Telescope
yet by the way.

Also, is the moon a good view from New Jersey for Summer 2004?

A man with a plan! :) Aside from salt spray and wind the beach is nice. But you may want to think about the 14" LX200GPS. "Bigger is better" and she may appreciate the extra inches of...er...um...light gathering ability...yeah thats it light gathering ability. :foreheadslap:
