Set number 5 (I swear that's the last one)

My "secondary location" set in an oklop with padded divider soft case. Quite the mix, result of all the stuff that did not make sense in the other sets.

LVW 42mm

Masuyama 85° 26mm

Hyperion 17mm

Morpheus 9mm

Hyperion 6mm (10mm with extenders)

NPL 30mm

Kasai ~2.2x Barlow. (I think same as GSO, advertised as 2.5x)

Interesting that you brought this up.
I find the spacing in this set of mine just right: 30-17.3-10-6 and that is close to your 0.6 .
I also use the 8mm and VIP Barlow the 10, 8 and 6, but the quadro above is a workhouse.

22mm Nagler T4

13mm Ethos

10mm Delos

Bino pairs of:

28mm RKEs

18mm Takahashi LE orthos

12.5mm Tak orthos

9mm Tak orthos

6mm Tak orthos

Televue X2 2” Powermate

Baader x1.25 and x1.7 GPCs

My observing seems to split broadly between mono wide-ish viewing and binoviewing for scrutiny of closer detail.  Most used for the former are 22mm Nag and 13mm Ethos.  Most used of the binoviewing pairs are the 18mm and 9mm Tak orthos. There are always others to hanker after (and I do) but, if I’m honest and objective, the above satisfy all my needs with my TEC140.  If I had to choose one from each ‘set’ it would be the 13mm Ethos and the pair of 9mm orthos. I’ve not worked to any particular formula - just hung onto eyepieces that I’ve liked and moved on the rest. There have been some very good eyepieces that I’ve owned but that didn’t see much use, for example, a 17.5 Morpheus, 5 and 7mm Pentax XWs, a 3.4mm Vixen HR and a 4mm Tak TOE. Apart from the Morpheus, this reflects the fact that I now exclusively binoview for higher powers. There’ve also been a few zooms, including the Svbony 3-8mm but they haven’t lasted long - I’ve yet to find a zoom that I like as much as a quality fixed focal length.

I've seen that comment before, but I don't get it.

I've never had an issue uploading big images to CN and using them in posts...

If you can't take a picture that is less than 50MB (the max files size) then that is peculiar.

Here's an image I just uploaded that is 3840x2160 and it was only 129.1KB.

Resolutions

And I uploaded it in less than 2 minutes.

I think most users, myself included, will try and attach an image directly to the response. If it's too big I will open with paint on MS windows and resize to about 20% then attach.

Someone has also suggested to upload the picture from Google Photos after it's uploaded to the cloud, which auto reduces the size unless you specify otherwise.

I never knew you could upload to your gallery 50MB limit with unlimited uploads! That is generous, thanks CN!

I took the time to figure it out. It was several clicks away. It'd be cool if every picture you attached would be automatically uploaded to your gallery.

All of my eyepieces have been changed over the last few months . They have all been changed to more eyeglass friendly eyepieces . I also put new foam in my eyepiece case , the old foam went through a few changes over the years and needed replacing .

The ep's are Pentax XW 5,7,10,14 and 30mm . Celestron Ultima Edge 24mm (same as APM UFF ) . Meade 5000 2X Telextender .

The 24mm UFF was intended for my 6" Starblast and it's 1.25" focuser  to be used as a sweeper .

Sorry. CN image size limitation etc = too much hassle. Otherwise I would.

Just use a program like Irfanview to reduce the image dimensions to a reasonable size, and save as a jpeg at ~90% quality. Easy.

We need to see a family portrait of that collection, mate!

Well that escalated quickly...

1000003318

Decided to set the Radians aside for now to free up some room for the Ethos. The two open ports above the 2x Zeiss W at the bottom belong to TV 11P (x2) - experimenting with binoviewing.

Feel like this should cover me for now.

Just bought a Morpheus 12.5 mm. I also sold a few eyepieces. Current collection:

Vixen NPL 30 and SLV 25 (solar eyepieces)
Explore Scientific 20/68
Baader Morpheus 12.5/76
Explore Scientific 6.7/82
Svbony 3-8 Zoom

If I like the Morpheus, I might replace the ES ones with the Morpheus 6.5 and 17.5.
