To better protect our members from Internet scammers we decided to implement a couple changes to the Cloudy Nights Classifieds (CNC).

From now on:

• Only registered Cloudy Nights members can contact the author of a classifieds ad. Since communication about CNC ads happens via email, the "Contact seller" link will no longer show up to unregistered users.
• The author of a CNC ad will only be visible to registered Cloudy Nights users.

For this reason we strongly discourage disclosing any personal information (email address, phone number, home address) within the text of any CNC ad.

Reminder: when a member is brought to our attention as trying to scam our members, the scammer will be immediately banned from participation on Cloudy Nights.

We encourage members to report scam attempts to local law enforcement, and to online resources like the Internet Crime Complaint Center.
