I apologize for the video. The Flip camera, while totally awesome, has some short comings. One being image stabilization or lack thereof.

I may have them save the junk and make some art out of it. Maybe a giant robot built out of the Televisions.

Poor Mike L....All caged up like that and no escape

Looks like you guys have a bit of work ahead of you but you're surely folks who get things done!

How far off the 40 are you guys Mike? We always seem to end up at Best Western in El Reno when we come through your neck of the woods.

Having been to your present site, this is a vast improvement room-wise, but still no place to park my big truck when I come to visit. :bawling:

I see from Google Earth's Street View that the new address is or is close to 104 E. Main. If Google ever updates their pics, we'll be able to look right in your new store!
Looks like Danny's was still a going concern at the time of the present picture.

Sure there is, Doug; of course you'd have to feed about 12 meters.

He didn't show the back side. Who knows, maybe you can make a delivery there Doug! :)

There is a 20' wide alley behind the new location where big rigs made deliveries of TVs, washers, and dryers for the previous occupants of 110 East Main. We anticipate that our deliveries will be made the same way, so there's room back there for someone to come by and load up a new refractor or two.

Hey Doug, since there's room back there to park the truck, I'll send you a list of things I need. You'll need at least 48 ft of space, so make sure the trailer is empty when you pull in there. :roflmao:

Mike,

Are you going to uncover the windows. I think I need to make a drip to Oklahoma to check it out.

Congrats and great luck, downtown Norman looks awesome.

The four large windows that have been filled in with cinder blocks that can be seen above the Danny's sign in the video will be opened up again to let natural light into the showroom on the second floor.

Four existing (but presently covered) skylights in the roof will also be opened up again to let light into the center and back of the showroom, which is going to be 70-75 feet from the front.

A SHOWROOM-great, I'm coming "after you clean up the mess"

I did notice on the drive there that you seemed to not come to a complete stop at either stop sign or the first light. Hope that the traffic fines do not hurt the CN discount.

Have you already selected a local contractor/re-modeler to do the work for you? Hopefully the project goes well with no major "surprises".

Interesting.., Soooo, do we take anything away from the fact that "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Rolling Stones is the soundtrack at the start of this film?

Nice show.., can't wait to see more updates..,

Best of luck with the work!

We have a local contractor and architect doing the build for us. They are both great and have done a ton of work on downtown main already.

Mike,

I also noticed the Range Rover you parked next to, seems like Norman is an upscale town. Any good places to eat downtown?

Tons of good places. We have a few places that have been featured nationally. I drove by one of my favorite sushi places at the start of the video. Awesome Indian food, www.misalofindia.com, and just a host of really neat college town attractions. There are several law offices downtown, some art galleries, and about 6-7 banks so the Range Rover is pretty common downtown.

Danny's TV was definitely the ugliest building on the block. I'm sure come August, Astronomics will be the nicest. Congratulations on the new space. Despite all the clutter, I could see it being an awesome space for you guys. I look forward to keeping up with the progress.
