I would second this reviewers comments about this book. I picked it up about 3 weeks ago. It helped me get a better understanding of telescope optics and understanding their limitations. Although it is relatively technical in nature, if you already have some familiarity with optics it is not that hard to read. Also the math involved for the most part is not too difficult. I have not yet done the star test, but I do look forward to trying it out soon

I am not sure if I am the only one but I read chapter 1. I feel like it would have been easier to read and make more sense if it was in Japanese (and no I don't speak Japanese). Quite difficult to understand for a beginner.
