For the price I would pick the CPC would you?

Of course, nobody's seen a CPC11. If I'm permitted to speculate on the CPC11's characteristics based on those of the CPC8 and the NX11GPS, then I'd lean toward the CPC11 for field use and the 12" LX200GPS for observatory use.

if price is what your after also look at the lx90 12"
but the new celestron goto sytem looks interesting.

The LXD 12" is a beast to set up - the CPC 11, if anything like the NexStar 11, will be a comparitive snap to handle.
