hi to all,i want to purchase a new mount GOTO,i'have a c8 in fork mount,i want use this OTA(+ focal reducer f 6.3) in lxd mount + orioned80mm as guidescope for imaging,i'am undecide if keep c8 or buy a sn8 OTA??,

If the C-8 has good optics, I'd keep it. I bought a "LXD75 Goto mount" for the C6-R OTA I got from Hiker. It's marginal at best for the large refractor. But it's great for my old 1986 vintage C-8. You can get an dovetail adaptor from "Scope stuff", or several other places. The C-8 and the LXD 75 makes a very good outfit.
