Just wanted to know if anybody has tried the Orion 20x80 megaviews and what they are like. I also might get the Oberwerk 20x80 LW pair, or even the Oberwerk 15x70's.
I will be mainly using them for DSO's and clusters sitting back in a reclining yard chair. thanks.

ALL of those sizes are too big and too much magnification to sit back and use for hand held astronomy.

Take Ed's ADVICE...I went through this several months ago....Ed kicked me in the pants....I finally went with his recommendation.....now I'm the proud owner of a pr of Oberwerk 10x60 Mariner's....very happy with Ed's advice and my new binos........:)
