I apologise if this a slight cross thread as I have made mention of this purchase in the planet observing thread.
However the scope I am buying seems to be an "ultimate" CAT.
It is not celestron or meade, neither any other particulary well known Company. The name is Orion UK, no relation whatsoever to Orion US.
I have purchased the OMC200 F20. It seems very high quality and as in the last thread , a Planet killer.
Here is the link to the company.

The 300mm also looks good, but slightly out of my price range.

I occassionally can get a copy of a British magazine called "Astronomy". Not sure if it's related to the USA version but it's in a larger format. The British (Europeans) seem to favor maksutovs, both cassegrain and newtonians, far more than in the USA and those from their Orion Optics are very popular and very highly thought of. I suspect your new cat is a great telescope and at f/20 should be a genuine planet-killer. Probably at least equal to a 7" high end refractor.

I bought a Russian maksutov-cassegrain and find the optics absolutely superb.
