is there anything like this made for celestron scopes? i see they make them for meade but have not seen one for celestron.

Yeah, there are several outfits that sell 2" visual backs for Celestron. I like the Astrophysics version myself, but the Televue one is nice too. Make sure you get the one for the larger opening on the C-11 so you get a full 2" throughput.

I also endorse the AP back - it's got three screws for the compression rings, so it'll hold just about anything you hang on it, and it's only a coupla bux more than the others (and less than the Peterson...)

You betcha! The thing is seriously solid- with three screws & a brass compression ring, it'll hold an elephant! :grin:
