hi

i've just had a good look through the instruction manual supplied with my LX90 'Classic' (the model before SNT came out!) and cant see any mention of the quiet slew mode. Anyone know if this function is available on my scope and how i can set it up? the loud motor whine has always been somwthing i'd like to do something about!!!!

thanks all :) :)

On the setup menu is a speed setting for the drive. 8 degrees per second is the default. If you set it to 4 degrees or less, the drive is considerably quieter. Set it for 2 degrees per second, and it is as quiet as any Celestron.
