Rear view of the cell. Fully adjustable. There is some kind of thick card stock material between the bottom of the mirror and cell.

Although my scope was very briefly mentioned in the manual, it was more about these.

Finally the case. It appears some of the joints were loose which is why the previous owner added all the brackets. Which put quite a few holes in the case. :bawling:

Otherwise it is in good shape.

Scott,

What a great find! I just noticed the Eikow pointer for the circles is the Eikow TM/logo on the label. The pointer is also the same for the Swift 831.

Is this what you seek? Mine isn't extra but always in use on my Swift 831.

Hi Keith, good catch. I didnt realize that.

Yes, that is it. I wouldnt leave that laying around! :o Looks like I could make one of those out of a donor screwdriver. Just cut it and thread the end. I could bottom out a nut on it (with some locktite) and round off the corners of the nut to simulate the collar. Unless McMaster might have some collars. Is the thread 1/4-20?

Now that looked at it closer. The threads look finer. 1/4-28 maybe? Thanks for your help!

If having mine as a template would help, just say. I'll send it to you as there will be limited moments of viewing for the next few months around here. I really mean that, just say and it is yours for awhile.

Thank you Keith for the offer. I really appreciate your generosity. I may take you up on your offer if I can't come up with something. Could you give me the overall length?

We don't see too many reflectors in wood cases. I can't remember the last one I noticed. Very nice find Scott. Looks in wonderful condition.

Interesting find Scott. Same colour scheme and hardware as my Eikow refractor. Seems they made telescopes with a variety of different names. Very nice!

Michael, fantastic find. I have 2 instruction manuals that came with my Eikow, same covers as yours but with a couple of different photographs in them. They have some photos of reflectors but not your particular one. The workmanship on these Eikows is second to none. The resemblence to Swift's is something else. These seem to be some rare birds. I wonder what the population of these are
If you should disasemble or take apart anything for cleaning please post some photographs.
