Every so often, we like to take note of some of our exceptional members with star contributor award.
Jon Isaacs is an old hand at internet forums, (seems like I've known him forever), and in every venue - he has always stepped to the forefront with his sage advice and friendly manner. It's folks like this who help to make this place the best it can be.

Jason spends most of his time on Cloudy Nights in the Reflector and ATM Forums helping others understand the ins and outs of collimation. His patience in explaining these techniques is only exceeded by his wonderful diagrams which he produces so quickly and accurately. Jason exemplifies the the standards that Cloudy Nights as a whole aspires to.

For a long time now, he has been providing optical expertise in several forums, among them the telescope forums and binoviewers and regularly in binoculars. Never critical of another member, always careful to explain things fully in a mild mannered form. He's extremely knowledgable, very helpful, polite and considerate. Glenn offers his knowledge and help freely and without bias here on Cloudy Nights forums. We're fortunate to have him as a member.

Josh Smith
Josh is always helpful and level-headed when participating in the fora. He’s a 1st rate imager who takes the time to assist beginners while giving quality feedback to seasoned imagers. Likewise, he takes constructive criticism with grace. He runs the Bi-weekly Imagining Challenge by providing data files for other members to practice their processing skills. This is a prime example of members pulling together to help others progress.

Frank5817 has been a constant in the sketching forum over the years and embodies the essence of Cloudy Nights. He helps to provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere on the boards and gives encouragement to members trying their hand at sketching. Frank graciously shares his techniques and sketches with others and welcomes them to include their own for comparison. His positive outlook makes members eager to share their sketches, try new techniques, and join in on conversations so that we all may learn from each other.
Thank you for all you do around here, Frank. We could all take a leaf from your book.
