Anyone use a RIF6.com Cube, I saw a demo of one using a iPhone as a source. $250, I'm curious if anyone is using one and can share their experiences.

Cheers

Thot I'd update my on-going setup.  We just had a fantastic turn out for last night's International Observe the Moon Night held near downtown OKC.  Equipment is still the same 6SE with Samsung 435, this time with a 0.5x 1.25" focal reducer.  The main changes for this year is a more compact 2,200 lumen projector mounted atop a 10' speaker stand (required kludging together off-the-shelf accessories and components).  Works much better in high ambient lighting locations.

The scope and projector setup can be seen here.  You can see where all the ambient lighting is coming from wink.gif.  I still haven't made to jump to HD; DSLR's that I have are a little annoying for timing out the video output and the sleep timer, among other things - but for now NTSC works quite well even when people are taking selfies and pics with the image.  I really like this PC-less setup that makes it much easier to deploy without too much hassle.  Thanks again for following along! (I tilted the projector higher by this time with no keystone correction, making the projection larger and elongating the image)
