Does anyone know how to tell the age of Meade 8 inch SCT's, or model number?

There are no indications on the scope labels. I have attached two pic of the scope.10inchrc112.JPG 10inchrc111.JPG

Are there any stickers on the side like UHTC or EMC? That will help, sort of.

The HTC label on the back precludes either EMC or UHTC. That puts it some time before 1992.

The serial number on the OTA means it was originally sold on a German mount, probably and LXD500 or 300. These mounts were made Hino Metal Specialites of Tokyo and Lin Optics of Taiwan. This model was sometime called the 203SC. It is a 2080B.

There's some info out there about the Meade/Mizar mount from the 2080 GEM.  I forgot about the 203SC.
