Hello fellow imagers. I downloaded PHD2 2.3.1 windows yesterday from openphdguiding.org and while installing it my antivirus (Avast) said phd2.exe was infected by the "FileRepSnxclass" virus. I deleted it just to be safe, but I was wondering if anyone else had seen that.

Thanks,

Greg

That's a tough question.

I had a look & I can't see where else to download it.

Definitely don't install it if your ant-virus says there is a virus.

I just checked my downloads.

I have the file      PHD2-v2.2.1-installer.exe

It is 9.840 M Bytes in size.

I could email it to you as a zipped file or maybe with another extension that you

could change as of course .exe files can't be emailed.

All my files are checked by Norton 360.

Just PM me.

cheers

Allan

I had the exact same issue with Avast, but it also triggered on my Cisco jabber client. False positive for now until I look through the source for open PhD

I just scanned my copy with Eset NOD32 virus protection and it came up clean.
